Help your children stay safe playing Fortnite
Fortnite is the game of the moment right now. Chapter 2 of Fortnite: Battle Royale was rolled out in October 2019 and with over 250 million Fortnite players in total, it’s safe to say it’s a very popular game amongst young people and children.
The game has a PEGI rating of 12, but the age is not requested when creating an account. Gamers playing the online game can connect with others across the world of any age and can remain anonymous. So it’s important to be aware, as young children may be exposed to offensive language by other players.
There are also in-app purchases that can be expensive.
If your child is a Fortnite gamer, it may be worthwhile setting up parental controls to ensure they enjoy a safer and happier experience.
In addition to Fortnite controls there are additional controls available for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and iOS and Android devices.
