Last week year 1 and year 4 represented St Dominic at the Hackney Music Festival. This is what some of the year 1 children thought:
On Tuesday 9th July 2013 at 10am class 1B Miss Nugent, Mr James, Miss Sarah and Miss Clancy went to the singing festival. All different schools came. We walked there. When we got there so many parents were there. We sang Head and Shoulders in the Round Chapel. By Janet 1B
We went to the singing festival on Tuesday 9th of July. We left at 10.00. We walked for a long time to get to the singing festival. We sang Just Keep Going On. We got water and we walked all the way back to school. I felt surprised because it was exciting and it was fun. By Akosua 1B
On Tuesday we went to the Hackney Music Festival in the Round Chapel. 1B went and it was lovely and sunny. We walked there it was in Clapton. We warmed up our voices by having some water. Kysha’s mum and Naijma’s came to help. We had a great time. By Awa 1B
