On Sunday 22nd June 23 Year 6 pupils took part in the Run Hackney Challenge. The children had to run a mile every week, for the 12 weeks prior to the race. Finally the children ran the last mile on the Run Hackney half marathon course. It was a beautiful day, and all the children ran fantastically well. Almost everybody was felt the mile was shorter than they were used to. Thank you to the other Miss Ross, Miss Dougherty & Mr Steve for coming down to ruin with the children – and a big thanks to any parents who watched the run.
