On 6th January, St. Dominic’s staff attended an INSET day that allowed us to celebrate the Catholic ethos that is embedded in all aspects of our school life. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all as it provided an occasion for staff to join together in an atmosphere of spiritual reflection and appreciation of our faith.
Father Dominic McKenna led the INSET and subsequently wrote to the school with a few words that express perfectly the mood of the day:
“Dear Deirdre,
Many thanks for the enthusiasm and participation of the staff of St. Dominic’s at the Inset Day on Catholic Ethos. The positive attitudes and the willingness to get involved were very encouraging. It was delightful to witness the teamwork and integration of all the staff. I enjoyed delivering the day and was pleased at the outcome.
Yours sincerely,
Fr. Dominic McKenna
Parish Priest”
